development projects

Project Vita's primary focus is improving the lives of people living in poverty in rural Mozambique. The development of a society depends on many different factors working together, and that's why we have a holistic approach. To that end, we are involved in various projects to improve housing, access to medicine, find alternative power sources, and generate cooking fuel.

  • Project Vita built a maternity clinic in Linga Linga, Mozambique, to help combat the high infant mortality rate in the village.

  • We worked with Swedish engineers to develop a process to turn household waste into environmentally sustainable fuel for cooking.

  • Our teams used local materials to construct structurally sound single-family homes in Beira.

  • After a devastating cyclone, we helped rebuild classrooms and installed new toilets in the local primary school in Linga Linga.

  • Our student volunteers installed solar panels to power a maternity clinic in Linga Linga.

Current Project: Light up linga linga

When Michel, founder of Project Vita, asked the people of the village Linga Linga what they wished for the most, their answer were energy and light sources. Thanks to a generous donation these wishes will now come true!

Sunbell Kenya Ltd. which is a subsidiary to Bright Products, Oslo is a supplier of solar powered solutions and has chosen to donate a larger quantity of products and systems which will be used for lighting up 150 health clinics, as well as products for hundreds of households that can be used for lighting and mobile phone charging.

The project is aimed to be implemented in 2023 and at present time Project Vita is collecting donations that will be used for the transportation of the donated products. Join our journey, together we can make a difference!

Together we build safer societies.
