Student Field study

Are you looking for a field study program unlike any other?

At Project Vita, we welcome bachelor, master, and doctoral thesis students for a life-changing experience in Mozambique. Many Swedish students choose our Minor Field Study (MFS) program, which we coordinate through Styrelsen för Internationellt Utvecklingssamarbete (Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, Sida).

We offer field study programs in various fields of study, including engineering, construction, and medicine. Our unique approach prioritizes projects based on local needs and involves the community at every step, using local materials and labor. As a result, you will work alongside local villagers, building both communities and lifelong friendships. Keep reading to learn about what makes Project Vita unique.

Life as a Volunteer

Many of our volunteers tell us their time in Mozambique was the most rewarding experience of their life. But volunteering is a big commitment, and we want to make sure Project Vita is the right fit for you.

Before you make that decision, take the time to read about our projects, what makes our organization different, and the costs associated with volunteering (see next section).

As a volunteer, you'll stay at Tor Bungalows in Linga Linga, a gorgeous beachside community in Inhambane province, exclusively for Project Vita volunteers. Our modern bungalows have electricity, private bathrooms with showers, and direct beach access.

If you think Project Vita is right for you, fill out the form at the bottom of this page, and we will be in touch shortly!
