Pedro Timane
Pedro Timane is a Medical Doctor, and has been involved with Project Vita since 2022 when starting as a volunteer, contributing to a medical project with the aim of raising awareness of stroke in rural Mozambique.
Pedro is originally from Uppsala, Sweden, but has Mozambican roots from his father, and has lived in Maputo between 1992-96. He earned his medical degree from Aarhus University in 2018. He has since then worked in the fields of internal medicine, family medicine, thoracic surgery, plastic surgery, and is now a resident in urology in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Pedro has alongside his interest in medicine and surgery, also an interest in development work, and now serves as medical adviser for the organization. Pedro has a vision of aiding the organization with the improvement of the healthcare system in rural Mozambique and the aid of the local hospitals and healthcare providers in the community.
