A hand-up, not a handout.
We started Project Vita to be a different kind of nonprofit - focused on empowering communities to improve their own lives, not doing it for them. By equipping people with the skills and knowledge to become self-sufficient, we can break the vicious cycle of generational poverty and improve communities for generations to come.
More than just a study abroad
Let’s Do Something Together!
Project Vita is committed to improving the living standards for communities in Mozambique and Africa. Creating a massive social and environmental impact requires a collective effort. We need more people with different skill sets to support our team!
Learn about our work
From teaching construction basics to building systems to collect waste and turn it into cooking gas, Project Vita is improving the lives of rural Mozambicans.
HOW CAN I HELP?
Project Vita believes the only way to lift people out of poverty is to build social facilities and teach them to become self-sufficient. By teaching people, we help people develop the tools to improve their lives and the lives of those around them. If you would like to help, please consider volunteering or donating to support our work.
